Halloween shindig

October 30, 2011

Yesterday following the Georgia victory, Matt and I hosted a Halloween party with a small group of friends, so of course delicious treats were necessary.

I made some homemade peanut butter cups (recipe here). They took a LONG time to prepare, but turned out delicious. I’m still munching on them today. Nothing like a bunch of unhealthy, yet tasty, ingredients packed into mini muffin liners.

I also made some tasty Chile Con Queso from Eating Well. However, I didn’t snap a photo before everyone dug in.

And for a costume, thanks to Matt’s suggestion, I was Clarissa (Explains It All):

My inspiration came from here and here, and I had a good time finding odds and ends at Goodwill and a couple from Target.
